Week One: So Far, So Good

With the 2010-2011 season one week already in, it looks like it’s shaping up to be a not so bad season. My opinion, for Rookie of the Year so far…..Blake Griffin. My apologies to those John Wall fans but I’ve seen him play the other night against the Orlando Magic and John Wall was shooting bricks (I don’t want to get started with the fact that you and two other teammates got dunked on by Brad Anderson. I will see that in a future Slam Magazine issue), given the perfect name of John Wall. I stay true to my New York Knicks, who had started out with a win, but then to lose two in a row. How am I supposed to believe in my team if they do stuff like take a lead in the beginning only to crumble in the end? How am I supposed to root for them to get the 8th spot in the playoffs if messes like that happen? Amare, give your team a better pep talk before the games or step up your game because right now the best player on your team is coming off the bench. Can you say Wilson Chandler? I don’t watch all games for I am limited to only the few that I can see, in addition to Sports Center on ESPN. But In my blogs, every week for the season I’ll be giving my opinion (or week of review) on the stuff going on around the league and who’s real and who’s fake. Look out players because if you’re out there doing less than what you are supposed to, you will be put on blast. Man, I love this game! Tell me what you think about the first week and do you see any predictions?
