It's Official!! Carmelo Anthony is a Knick!!

Yes, just like I knew that it would happen. Just sooner than later. In a breaking news, Carmelo Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, Anthony Carter and former Knick Renaldo Balkman are heading to the Knicks. Denver will receive Danilio Galinari, Raymond Felton, Timothy Mozgov and Wilson Chandler. Minnesota will also receive Anthony Randolph and that bum Eddy Curry (Yeah, I said it. A bum). Some people may think that they should've waited till the end of the season. But seeing how any Knick outside of Amare' was doing bad, it mad more sense as the season progressed. Now let the new season begin for my New York Knicks!! Welcome home, Carmelo!!! Agree with me or disagree!!

February 15th, 2011

Here we are and the All-Star Weekend is just a few days away and I’m just getting hyped about the whole event. But I’ll get into that on my next blog which I will be doing right before the weekend begins. So let’s get to some regular news. Congrats to Ray Allen for breaking Reggie Miller’s record for the All-Time Leader in 3-Points. I honestly wouldn’t have imagined it would be him because watching him in his early days when he competed in the Slam Dunk Contest, he was known for being a jammer than anything. But you have to change your game as time goes by and he’s aged gracefully so my hat goes off to you. My hat also goes off to the Boston Celtics for beating the Miami Heat and taking that top spot in the East. I’m sorry to say this ‘Big 3 of Miami’, but you’ve been targeted as the enemies of the East and probably will stay that way until you’re eliminated from the Playoffs. I’ve said it right, eliminated because as far as I know, no one in the East is going to beat Boston. They’re just too much in on a roll.

Let’s get to the West, the Lakers had lost to the Magic on Sunday and to the Charlotte Bobcats last night? Come on, defending champs. This is how you’re going to keep playing? Better shape up and win some games or else there will be a new sheriff in town. Actually there is and their name is the San Antonio Spurs. They have the best record in the NBA. They are winning and have been staying under radar. People sleep on this team and Tim Duncan. You fail to realize that he is still (silently) the best power forward to ever grace the game. If they do go all the way to win it all, I think that this will be Duncan’s last and rightfully would deserve it so San Antonio, do what you have to do and win because this will probably be your last chance because the West is only going to get stronger and younger. Starting with the Oklahoma City Thunder. As the Lakers, Spurs and Mavericks are getting older, the Warriors, Thunder and Clippers are getting to their prime. As long as the West have Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and Blake Griffin, Kobe/Duncan/Kidd/Nowinski, the next two or three years is going to be your last, so make the best of it.

On that note, let’s just leave it at that until the next blog. See you all there.
